Delores A. Knipple (nee Pliske) passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026, at the age of 93. She was the beloved wife of the late Jerome Knipple. Delores was a devoted mother to Linda (John) Campbell, Donna (the late Jeremy) Hargens, Jerry (Katie) Knipple, and Janet (the late Bill) Dorn. She was a cherished grandmother to John (Kathryn), Jesse (Rachel), Maggie (Graham), Josh (Tiffany), Jenna (John), the late Kelly, Kyle (Ashley), Amanda, the late Billy, Jimmy (Julia), Kim, Stephanie, and Eddie. Her legacy extended to her great-grandchildren: Veronica, Carolyn, Benjamin, Joseph, Charlie, Anabella, Adelyn, Cameron, Hailey, AJ, Kameryn, Karsten, Arianna, Caleb, Andreas, Faith, and Jade. Delores was preceded in death by her parents and 7 siblings. Delores is further survived by her sisters-in-law, Sr. Beatrice Knipple and Joyce Pliske, as well as by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Delores was an enthusiastic supporter of Wisconsin sports and was deeply religious. She was devoted to St. Helen’s Church and greatly admired Fr. Mike. As a parishioner for 65 years, her faith was central to her life, and she always carried her rosary with her.

Visitation will take place at St. John Paul II Parish–St. Helen Church (3329 S. 10th St., Milwaukee) on Friday, March 27, from 9:30 to 10:45 AM. A Rosary Service will be held at 10:45 AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
