Diane R. Garcia

Diane R. Garcia, 62, of Cudahy, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026. Born on October 5, 1963, to the late Donald and Elene (Christ) Dolgner. She was feisty in spirit, loving in heart, comical in timing, outgoing in nature, and endlessly endearing to all who knew her.

On November 24, 1984, she married the love of her life, David Garcia. Their story stretched across 41 years of devotion, laughter, and partnership, with vows joyfully renewed in 1992 as a promise echoed and deepened. Together they built a home rich in love, lively in music, and the comforting scent of something wonderful baking in the oven.

Diane found joy in life’s simple and sacred rituals. Her peanut butter cookies rarely lasted long on a cooling rack, and her cheesecakes became the stuff of family legend. She tended her gardens with pride, coaxing both flowers and vegetables to flourish under her attentive care. In the kitchen, she was a keeper of family recipes, stirring together tradition and love in equal measure.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 41 years, Dave; her sons, Dustan (Ericka Ramirez) Garcia and David Garcia; her siblings, Donn (Joan) Dolgner and Denise (Jeff) Perkins; her nephew, Derek; her niece, Grace; and many cherished members of the Garcia family and dear friends.

Diane’s laughter will echo in family kitchens, her recipes will be lovingly recreated, and her vibrant spirit will remain planted firmly in the hearts of those who knew her. Her life was a garden of fierce love and faithful devotion, and its bloom will not be forgotten.

Visitation will be held at MAX A. SASS & SONS GREENFIELD CHAPEL (4747 S 60th St., Greenfield, WI) on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the 12:00 PM service. Burial will take place in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Diane’s name to your favorite charity.
