Found peace on Thursday, June 26, 2025, surrounded by his family, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Janet for 35 years. Father of Christopher (Tania) Tesch and Erika (Jason) Cadrette. Step-father of Peter (Jen) Bender and Carl (Kimberly) Vollrath. Cherished grandpa of Kevin, Laura, Angela, Berzy, Casey, Hatie, Rio, Willa, Colby, Carter and Conner. Proud great-grandpa of Athena, Ariela, Alonzo, Emily and Aiden. Brother of Ingrid Knoke and the late Rolf Tesch.
Dieter was a well known and respected mason in Southeast Wisconsin. His artistry and craftsmanship have beautified homes and businesses for over sixty years.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel, 4747 S. 60th St., Greenfield, on Wednesday, July 2 from 4-6 PM with Eulogies at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Wehr Nature Center (https://www.friendsofwehr.org/) or the Arbor Day Foundation (https://www.arborday.org/). Please plant a tree in his memory.
