Dolores Rose Snieg

Snieg, Dolores R. (Nee Orth) Born to life June 15, 1926 and Born to Eternal Life July 4, 2006 at the age of 80 years. Former wife of the late Walter A. Snieg. Daughter of the late John (Rose) Orth. Dear mother of Mary Rose (Joseph) Zanotelli, Thomas John (Anne) Snieg and Catherine Joan (Ramon) Cruz. Loving grandmother of Angela, Alexander and Nikolas. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Dolores was a graduate of Holy Angels Academy and Marquette University. She was employeed in radio broadcasting from 1948-1952 and she retired from Milwaukee Public Schools in 1992. Dolores was a Commissioner with the city of Milwaukee 4th of July Commission for over 31 years and was instrumental in founding the Alcott Park 4th of July Association and city wide Poster Project. Funeral services will be begin Saturday July 8 at 9 AM from the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel to ST. MATTHIAS CHURCH for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Prayer service Friday 6 PM. Visitation Friday at the Funeral Home from 4-7 PM.
