Donald R. Eilers passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026, at the age of 86.

He was the beloved husband of 46 years to Betty Eilers (née Wittman) and a proud and devoted father to Debbie (Miguel) Arango, Mark (Chris) Eilers, Roxi (Gary) Ellis, Lisa (John) Weiner, Donna (Rich McNelis) Catlin, and Linda Devine. Don was also a cherished grandfather to eight grandchildren and a great-grandfather to nine, all of whom brought him immense joy.

He is further survived by other loving relatives and dear friends.

Don proudly served his country in the Air National Guard. He was a lifelong resident of Greendale, where he built a life rooted in family and community, and for the past 24 years, he enjoyed winters as a “snowbird” in Golf Lakes, Bradenton, Florida.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at St Luke's Lutheran Church - 6705 Northway, Greendale, WI 53129, from 10:30 am until the time of service at 11:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church are appreciated.
