Donald Jeffery "Don" Klug, 67, of West Allis, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026.
Above all, Don treasured his wife, Karen.
Born on January 8, 1959, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Don lived a life filled with memorable moments, enduring friendships, and a deep love for the people and things that brought him joy.
Don proudly served his country as an Army Airborne Ranger before beginning a career with the Wisconsin Center District, where he retired as an Events Setup Manager. He was known as a hardworking man who took pride in his work and enjoyed helping make every event a success.
Above all, Don treasured his wife, Karen. Together for 32 years and married for 26, they built a life marked by love, loyalty, and countless memories. He is survived by his treasured wife, Karen, and by a large extended family and many dear friends whose lives were touched by his presence. While some of those he loved have gone before him and others remain to carry on his memory, each held a special place in his heart. He also leaves behind his beloved fur baby, Rolo, who will undoubtedly miss his faithful companion and now has the important job of taking care of Momma.
Don enjoyed life's simple pleasures and was passionate about cheering on the Green Bay Packers, listening to The Beatles and Celtic Thunder, playing the drums, watching movies, and searching out the latest flavored Mountain Dew. Those who knew him will remember the unique interests and conversations that made him unmistakably Don.
As we remember his life, we are especially grateful for the good moments we shared with him. Those memories will remain a lasting gift to all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service celebrating Don's life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church In Wisconsin, S63W13761 College Avenue, Muskego, WI 53150.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to express their love and support are invited to make a personal gift to Karen to assist her during this season. Any such gifts are intended solely for her personal care and support.
