Dorothy Mae Jacobe

Dorothy Mae Jacobe, a beacon of love and music, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026, at the age of 100, in her home state of Wisconsin. Born on October 31, 1925, also in Wisconsin, Dorothy's life was a melody of love, friendship, and faith that touched the hearts of all who knew her.

 Dorothy's journey began as a young girl with a passion for piano, a talent that would define her life's work and joy. Her dedication to music led her to earn a degree from the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, an achievement that paved the way for a lifetime of sharing her gift with others. Through her music, she found a way to communicate beyond words, fostering connections and spreading warmth in every note she played.

In her personal life, Dorothy was the embodiment of love and kindness. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Earl Jacobe, whose memory she cherished deeply. Together, they built a life filled with laughter and love, a legacy carried on by their children, Darryl Jacobe, Kurt Jacobe with his wife Pamela, and Heidi Munson with her husband Kris. Dorothy's role as a mother was one of her greatest sources of pride, and she instilled in her children the same values of compassion and faith that guided her own life. 

Dorothy's warmth extended to her grandchildren, Lance and Lauren Munson, who were the light of her life. She shared with them not only her love but also her passion for music, fostering a new generation to appreciate the beauty of melody and harmony. Her influence as a loving grandmother will continue to resonate in their lives and in the lives of all who follow.

Visitation will be held on Monday January 26, 2026 at Wisconsin Memorial Park- Chapel of Flowers from 9:00 am until the time of service at 10:30. Entombment to follow
