Duane W. Freiberg

Duane W. Freiberg passed away peacefully on Thursday April 2nd, 2026 at the age of 95.

Duane graduated from UW-Stout, was a Navy veteran, and worked at Rexnord and Harley-Davidson. He also had many hobbies including construction projects, raising rabbits, and large vegetable gardens.

Survived by his beloved wife Virginia. Loving father of Nancy (Steve) Coogan, Diane Freiberg, Cheryl (Bob) Gibbons. Proud grandfather of Stephanie (Dan), Heather (Bubba), Sarah, Christina (Max); and great-grandfather of Jayden, Mylo, Kian, Victor, Jaxon, Finley, Theo, and Jessica. Preceded in death by brother Foster “Fritz” Freiberg, sister-in-law June Freiberg, sister-in-law Irene Windsor, brother-in-law Norb Windsor, granddaughters Jessica Roark and Michelle Coogan.

At Duane’s request a private service will be held.
