Obituary

Listen to Obituary

E. Mozell “Mo” Cresto (nee Bryant), was born on August 20, 1942 in the heat of the summer sun of Savannah, Georgia. She departed this life on July 14, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and love that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

A caring soul from the start, Mo’s feisty personality defined her in every chapter of her life. She found joy in the simple, yet profound pleasures, whether it was spending time with family and friends, watching NCIS, traveling, or talking on the phone. If you asked Mo what she cherished most, she would undoubtedly say it was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren…they were her proudest accomplishments.

Mo will be remembered for her home cooked meals and her attempts to be “air traffic controller” of everyone’s life.

She is survived by her devoted children: Janice, Tonia (Roy) Davis, Christina (Steve) Flood, and Tammy; grandchildren: Gary, Jennifer (Ryan), Kristian, Savanna (Ryan), Alexander (Leslie), and Kaylee; and great-grandchildren: Shianne, Dylan, and Ella. Deeply loved by her sister Gail Jaynes.

Though her presence will be profoundly missed, the memory of Mo is enriched by those who preceded her in death including her siblings, Robbie Bryant, Evelyn Burnsed, JB Bryant, and Dannie Ruth Avers.

A celebration of Mo’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 29, at Max A. Sass & Sons-Greenridge Chapel (4747 S. 60th St., Greenfield, WI). The memorial gathering will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by the memorial service at 12:00 PM.

Through every shared meal and glass of sweet tea, Mo taught those around her the strength of a generous heart and the vitality of a feisty spirit. As we gather to celebrate her life, we remember not only the years that marked her timeline but the love she so freely gave, a love that continues to nourish and inspire all who knew her.
