Niemiec, Edward F. Born to Eternal Life August 30, 2007 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Sophie (nee Boduch). Dearest father of Anne (David) Kolb, Carol (Thomas) Ness, Frank (Susan), Mary Niemiec, Therese (Daniel) Wilk, Linda Niemiec (David Black), Michael (Edie), Edward J. (Phyllis) and Laurie (Tim) Pezzi. Proud grandpa of Kristin, Craig, Chalyse, Josh, Erica, Lisa, Sarah and Andy. Great grandpa of Sophia, Elie and Nicholas. Dear brother of Emily Brogan. Further survived by sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 11am at St. Alexander Church (S. 16th and W. Holt Ave.). Visitation Saturday 9:30-10:45 am at the church. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Mr. Niemiec was a retired employee of International Harvester/Navistar and was a very active member of St. Alexander Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated.
