Ellen Pietrzak

Ellen M. Pietrzak, Age 78, born Zelinski on December 10, 1946, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025. She was a loving wife and devoted mother, whose warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Ellen's life was marked by her unwavering commitment to her family. She celebrated 61 wonderful years of marriage to her beloved husband, Ronald Pietrzak, whom she married on June 6, 1964. Ellen’s love for her children was profound, and she took great pride in her role as a mother. She is survived by her son Mark Todd (Tiffany) Pietrzak, and her daughter-in-law Tricia Pietrzak. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Samantha (Matt) Cudnohoske, Nicole Pietrzak (Tony Zuba), and Noah Pietrzak, as well as her great-grandson Jensen David Zuba.

Ellen formed close relationships with her extended family as well, including her niece Lisa Marie (Jeff) Corstvet, and her great-nephew Greg Corstvet, along with her great-great niece Khloe Corstvet. She embraced her family wholeheartedly and spent many joyful moments nurturing these bonds.

Ellen’s life was enriched by her interests as well; she was known to be a golfer. Her spirit was characterized by her devotion and love for those around her.

Special thanks are extended to Lisa Marie and Kimberly Ann for their unyielding support during these times, and to the dedicated staff at Aria at Mitchell Manor for the compassionate care they provided for Ellen.

Ellen M. Pietrzak now joins her beloved parents, Ervin and Evelyn Zelinski; her sister Eileen (Leon) Francis; and her son, David Joseph Pietrzak, who predeceased her. Also remembered is her niece, Sherri Francis.

As we remember Ellen, her legacy of love, devotion, and family will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her surviving loved ones.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday October 1, at 11 AM at St Martin of Tours Catholic Church, with entombment to follow.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ellen's name can be sent to Alzheimer's Association
