Born on March 15, 1936, Esther lived a full and purposeful life, marked by her unwavering dedication to her family and her warm hospitality. She was a woman whose passion was her family, and she took great joy in giving to others and making everyone feel welcomed in her home.
Esther’s life was distinguished by many accomplishments, among which she held her marriage of 57 years to Adolfo E. Garcia as her proudest achievement. In addition, Esther was survived by a son in law, daughters in law, two very close half brothers and numerous nieces and nephews scattered throughout the United States and Mexico, who cherished her from afar.
A woman of diverse interests and talents, Esther found pleasure in gardening and nurturing plants, filling her surroundings with life and beauty. She was also passionate about cooking, where she expressed her love through the meals she prepared, and knitting, a craft through which she created warmth and comfort both literally and figuratively. Her grace and generosity left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Esther was one of eleven siblings and was the last of her generation to depart this life, a final chapter closing on a large and close-knit family. Her passing marks the end of an era but leaves a profound legacy of love, strength, and resilience.
