Eugene Seidl was born in Stanley, Wisconsin, to Roman and Margaret Seidl. He was raised on the family farm and graduated from Stanley-Boyd High School. Eugene was an entrepreneur throughout his life, owning a gas station and later working in trucking. He enjoyed music and played in a band with his brothers called the Red Robins. He was married to Carol Techmeier for 26 years, and they moved to Eleva, Wisconsin, in 1979.

Eugene loved working on cars and owned many classic cars over the years. In his younger days, he enjoyed water skiing. He also worked on many projects, including remodeling and helping build homes. He was known for his strong work ethic and his love of hands-on projects.

In his later years, Eugene enjoyed road trips, where he could often spot an old truck in someone’s yard from the road. He believed classic cars were the best and always appreciated their character and history.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Jimmy, Terrance, Roman Jr., Allan, Melvin, Robert, and his sisters Dori and Marilyn.

He is survived by his sister Mariette; his children Eugene (Nora) Seidl, Michele (Dean) Karlstad, and Susan (Wayne) Maug; and his grandchildren Alexis Seidl, Branden Back, Shad Seidl, Dominique Seidl, Dana Karlstad, Tyler Karlstad, Ethan Karlstad, Kyle Maug, and Samantha (Corey) Paulsen. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Jameson, Cameron, Roman, and Vivian.
