Francis J. Lepine

LePine, Francis J. "Frank" Age 86, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014 following a brief stay at AngelsGrace Hospice of Oconomowoc. Born on July 13, 1927 in Florence, WI, Frank was the son of the late Peter and Florence "Flossie" (Nee Malloy) LePine. He served his country during WWII as a Seaman, 2nd class in the US Navy. Following his military service, Frank married Lois Osterberg on June 6, 1952 in Iron Mountain, MI. He was a proud member of Iron Workers Local 8. Frank was also a member of St. Joe's Catholic Church, Big Bend as well as the American Legion, Post 500 of West Allis. He was an active member of the local Senior Citizens Group and enjoyed a good game of cribbage. He will be sadly missed. Frank leaves behind his loving wife of over 61 years, Lois, his children: Michael (Kathleen), David (Lisa), Robert (Barbara), Jane (Gary) Lindow, Lori (Dan) Mikkelsen and Kenneth Luedtke; his grandchildren: Sara, Erik, Kari, Adam, Maggie, Aaron, Brianna, Nathan, Christopher, Tyler, Kristen, Kelsie, Karlyn and Kenneth and his 6 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by a sister, Mary Ellen Gremore of Milwaukee and a brother, Howard (Marcy) LePine of Oak Creek, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thanks to Mary Pozorski and Bill Heil for their loving support. He was preceded in death by his brother, John LePine. Visitation will be at ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH (S89 W22650 Milwaukee Avenue, Big Bend) on MONDAY, March 3, 2014 from 11 to 12:45 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 PM. Full military honors to follow. Private burial will take place at a later date.
