Lisowicz, Frank A. Of Franklin, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 1, 2014. Age 90. Beloved husband of Mildred for 66 wonderful years. Devoted dad of Judith (Kurt) Luedke and Janet (Paul) Nothem.Cherished grandpa of Dr. Eric (Dr. Soma Kumar) Luedke, Andrew (Kate) Nothem and Meghan Nothem. Survived by sisters Genevieve (the late Ray Skwarek) (the late Sy) Hejlik, Stella (the late Eugene) Nowicki, Dolores (the late Frank) Kintop, brother-in-law Major Augustine, god-children Lois Van Ruden, Marvin Augustine, Anne Marie Neuens, Korine Schallack and lifelong friends Leona and (the late Leonard) Katorski and Bernardine and Karl Niessing, many nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors and members of the Franklin Senior Dining, who made his golden years fun. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Bernice, brother Stanley(Monica), sisters Julie (Stanley) Demski, Helen (John) Zabkowicz, Alice Augustine and sister-in-law Lorraine (Elroy) Wendt, god-children David Lisowicz and Stanley Zabkowicz. Frank served in the US Army during World War II and earned numerous military decorations including the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. He retired after 32 years of service from Rockwell Automation working in carpentry, maintenance and display. Memorial gathering at Blessed John Paul II, St. Alexander Church, 1554 W. Holt Ave, Saturday, February 8, 9:30-11 am. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Palliative Care Unit of the VA Hospital appreciated. Thanks to the Palliative Care Unit of the Clement J.
