Gary Dale Albright, a cherished soul and treasured family patriarch, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, in Muskego, Wisconsin, at the age of 84. Born on January 10, 1941, in Austin, Minnesota, Gary's life was a testament to the values of hard work, dedication, and the love of family.
Gary's early years were spent in the town of his birth, where he graduated from Austin High School in the Class of 1959. He was known for forging lasting friendships. After completing his education, Gary sought opportunities that would lead him to a fulfilling career, eventually finding his way to Kenosha, Wisconsin, where he began his tenure at American Motors.
In time, Gary joined the team at Briggs and Stratton, where he would remain for 35 years until his well-deserved retirement. His colleagues remember him as a man of great skill and integrity, someone who took great pride in his work and who could always be counted on to lend a helping hand.
Gary was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joanne Albright, with whom he shared many years of love and companionship. He is survived by his devoted children, Vicki (Steve) Rossman, Lorri Albright, and Dan Albright. Gary's legacy continues through his family, including his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, all of whom felt the warmth of his generous spirit.
Gary enjoyed fishing, camping, collecting memorabilia, going to flea markets, and making friends anywhere he went. Those who knew Gary would describe him as handy, loving, and generous. He possessed a rare combination of talents and a heart that was always open. His presence brought joy and comfort to those around him, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Gary Dale Albright lived a life full of purpose and love. As we remember him, we celebrate the enduring impact he made on the lives of so many. His legacy of kindness, dedication, and genuine affection for those around him will continue to inspire us all. Gary's journey on this earth may have come to an end, but the memories he created will forever be cherished in the hearts of his family and friends.
