George graduated from Don Bosco High School Class of 1964. He later earned his bachelor's degree in teaching, embarking on a career that would influence many young minds as a Middle School Math Teacher for many years. His passion for numbers did not end in the classroom; after retiring from teaching, he devoted himself to sports prognostication and bookkeeping, activities that highlighted his analytical skills and love for detail. Those close to him fondly remember his life advice delivered with his characteristic wit: "The masses are asses - Take the dog."

He was preceded in death by his beloved sister Patricia, and devoted parents George Sr. and Emily, whose memories he carried with him throughout his life.

George is lovingly remembered and survived by his son Brian Sr., who shares his life with Yuli; his stepdaughter Gennie Smith, who was a pillar of support in his care; and his grandchildren Brian Jr., Patrick, and Georgia. A lifelong friend of Dorothy Smith, George’s circle exemplified the depth of relationships he treasured..
