Proud father of Donna Schlessinger, Stephen (Robin Banholzer), Tom (Gloria), Mary Galati and James, Sr. (Louisette). Loving grandpa of Christopher (Amy) Schlessinger, Valerie (Josh) Varner, James, Jr., Nicole, and Lucas Schlessinger, and Joannah Galati. Brother of Dorothy (Richard) Lieg. Brother-in-law of Lorraine Schlessinger. Further survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial Visitation Thursday April 23, 2009 4-7 PM with Complete Memorial Service at 7 PM at the Funeral Home. Private interment. Past president of the West Allis Radio Amateur Club.
