George S. Schulist

Schulist, George A. George was reunited with his wife Cecilia on August 21, 2016 at the age of 102. Loving father of Margaret (Daniel) Cerkoney. Proud grandpa of Cathy (Aaron) Riley, Patty (Charles) Austin and Dan (Jessica) Cerkoney. Great-grandpa of Keanu, Kiara, Tahlia, Christian and Harrison. Further survived by other relatives and friends. George was a member of the 101st Airborne Division and proudly served in WWII. He was a Purple Heart recipient and was awarded the Bronze Star. He also worked as an engineer for the Milwaukee Public School system for 40 plus years and at Sears part-time for 25 years. Visitation at Max A. Sass & Sons-Greenridge Chapel on Friday, August 26 starting at 11AM until time of service at 1PM. Entombment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
