Gerald "Jerry" Goebel

Passed away peacefully at home on June 5, 2026 at age 87. He was born July 18, 1938 to Carl and Laverne Goebel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Beloved husband of the late Beulah. Loving daughter Dawn (Tom) Vossekuil. Proud and amazing papa of Katelyn, Jaden and Sophia. Brother of Audrey (the late Ronald) Green. Brother-in-law of the late Jim (Kathy) and Belva (the late Lester) Beck.  Further survived by other loving relatives and dear friends. Preceded in death by his wife Beulah, his parents Carl and Laverne, sisters Janet (Leroy) Apfel and Joanne (Donald) Fojut and Father and Mother-in-law Jacob and Belinda "Blondie" Taxis. 

For over 40 years Jerry was a dedicated employee at Pritzlaff Meats. He loved to go on gambling trips, attend his grandchild's sporting events and spending time with his family. He will be loved, remembered and missed for his wit and humor. 

Visitation will be held at the Max A. Sass and Sons Southshore Chapel (1314 Manitoba Ave. South Milwaukee) on Thursday, June 11th, 2026 from 4 PM until time of services at 7 PM. Private Interment Forest Hill Memorial Park Oak Creek. Please wear your favorite Wisconsin sports team attire or cowboy boots in memory of Jerry.
