Grandpa of Chuck (Brenda) Dunham, Kris (Kory) Scholze, Joshua, Amanda and Amber. Great- grandpa of Trevor, McKenzie, Ava, Kade, Kian and Korrin. Brother of Terry Wojciechowski and Rosemary Stawicki. Long time companion and special friend Lu Schanke. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Visitation at Saint Paul Catholic Church, 1720 E Norwich Ave, Friday, September 4, 9:30am-11am. Mass of Christian Burial 11am. Entombment at Arlington Park Cemetery. Gil served in the U.S. Army from 1942-1944, was a lifelong member of Moose Lodge #49 , was a member of the Holy Name Society and Active member at St Paul Catholic Church.
