Greta D. Crawford

Greta D. Crawford, born December 31 1962, daughter of the late Robert L. Crawford Sr. and the late Jeanne A. Crawford, sister to Robert Crawford Jr. and Neta C. Crawford, passed away in her home on July 31, 2026. She will be most fondly remembered by her siblings as well as her niece Rose Jordan Crawford. Greta was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin where she grew up and later Mequon Wisconsin where she attended Homestead Highschool and graduated in 1981. She went to the University of Wisconsin Madison where she received a bachelors in journalism with a special emphasis on geography in 1985. After graduating Greta traveled to China where she taught English. Upon returning to the U.S. she enrolled in Harvard Law School where she earned her diploma in 1992. She practiced law in various communities from South Dakota, Wisconsin, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, Louisiana,  and Texas. Most recently Greta also dedicated some of her time and talent to teaching in various Milwaukee public schools. As an animal lover, she enjoyed many pets including rabbits and cats.
