Rydlewicz, Gretchen M. Heaven needed another angel and she was delivered on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, age 76. Gretchen was the first born to Alvin and Marian Konetz on July 22, 1937. The loving matriarch of her family and devoted wife of 54 years to (Sweetsie Darling) Robert. Cherished Mama to Bobby, Mary and Martha. Special Grandma to fur-kids; Lilly, Tiger and (Grandma's girlfriend) Blossom Theresa. Beloved sister to Raymond (Jackie) Konetz, Vivian Marino, John (Cathy) Konetz and loved sister-in-law to many. Preceded in death by brother-in-law Salvatore Marino and niece Cheryl Konetz. Loving 'Auntie Gretch' to many nieces and nephews. Gretchen retired from Milwaukee County. Robert and Gretchen enjoyed retirement to the fullest with traveling, including weekly stops at the casino. Gretchen truly loved her life, family and friends. She had a great sense of humor to laugh at life. Always understanding, good-natured and sweet. The best cook and baker, she shared her Rice Krispie treats with everyone. So proud to own Gilman House and of what she had accomplished with her best friend, her husband. Gretchen will forever be in our memory and our hearts.
