James L. Alario passed away peacefully on October 23, 2026, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Patricia “Patti” for 60 years. Loving father of Lori Beth (Fouzi) Diab of Loveland, CO, and Amy Lynn (Craig) Wegner of Adams, TN. Proud grandfather “Boppa” of Dominic Alario, Sydney (Cameron) Miller, Samantha Herlugson, and Hailey (Brandon) Chapman. Great-grandfather of Lain, Elli, Everleigh, Dawsyn, and Lauren. Dear brother of Patricia Louise (Ken) Tarzan of Oak Park, IL. Dear friend of Mary Ann Hall. Further survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

James enjoyed spending his time doing the things he loved, including golfing, fishing, woodworking, exercising and backgammon. These hobbies brought him enjoyment throughout his life.

A memorial gathering will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 3722 S. 58th St., Milwaukee on Saturday, October 31st from 10-11:45 AM with the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 PM.
