Jane Ann Heuberger was brought home on September 30, 2025 at the age of 95. Born Jane Ann Joswick on May 24, 1930 in Glenmore, WI to John Joswick and Anna Joswick (Bluma). She was the sixth of twelve children and spent her childhood in rural Wisconsin and later in West Allis, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Richard Heuberger and her very special daughter in law Karen Heuberger. Jane was a special mom to Jim (the late Karen) Heuberger and Sue (Tom) Hermann. She was an adored grandma to Ben (Katie), Charlie, Maggie and Eli.

Jane was a proud executive secretary for AT&T, dressing to the nines in many outfits she made herself and working downtown. She spent her days before marriage helping care for her younger siblings, being a great sister and aunt and helping to run the busy household.

She met the man of her dreams while bowling in a work league. Dick and Jane had a quick courtship and married at the age of 38, with two children to follow. Jane stayed at home to be an absolutely amazing mom and continued to show her great love to all she came in contact with. She returned to work and later retired from AT&T.

Jane made specialty birthday cakes and homemade Halloween costumes for Jim and Sue. She threw holiday and Fat Tuesday parties with homemade paczkis and her very own player piano for entertainment. She kept up her family traditions, making homemade polish sausage, canning peaches, tomatoes and pickles and making strawberry jam. She was especially famous for her frosted cut out cookies as well as her amazing knitting projects, mostly in the form of sweaters for her grandchildren.

Jane was the communication center for her siblings and kept the family history. When she wasn’t taking care of others, she seemed to be moving but she made each home welcoming and full of love. She was a part of all events in her grandchildren’s lives and the funnest  place for her grandkids to visit! Jane will be remembered very fondly by all her knew her.
