Jean Clara Blum

Blum, Clara "Jean" of Greenfield. Passed away from complications of Alzheimer's disease. At home with the Lord September 16, 2012. Born December 12, 1933, preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Bernard and son, Timothy. Survived by loving daughter, Mary Kay Peters, devoted son-in-law Terry, and dearest grandchildren Theresa and Matthew (Bethany). Jean was a writer, a traveler, and a devoted advocate for adults with developmental disabilities. Special thanks and blessings to the loving staff of Layton Terrace and Vitas Hospice. Visitation Tuesday 3:30-7:30 pm at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel with a service at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial and additional services will be held in Lemont, Il. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association or Interfaith Older Adult Programs
