Jeffery "Jeff," aka "Rooney" Allen Kieck, 56, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on May 18, 2026.

Jeff shared a partnership with Renata Cunningham that spanned more than 30 years. Together, they built a life rich with experiences and a deep connection that stood the test of time. They built a life together full of wonderful memories and he will be deeply missed.

One of Jeff's greatest joys in life was the special relationship he shared with William, Renata’s Grandson. Jeff held a special place in William's life and was a constant source of love, guidance, and companionship. Together they built countless memories through adventures, shared interests, and the everyday time spent together that formed a true and lasting bond. Jeff rarely missed any of William's soccer games, and their shared love of the sport brought them even closer.

Jeff was a man of deep faith and a devoted Catholic who attended mass at Basilica of St. Josaphat. He and his Dad or Uncle Tom would often go to mass together. He also enjoyed spending time with his Dad and uncles for the "Kieck Bowling” league.

Jeff lived life fully, on his own terms, and found joy in the people, places, and experiences that meant the most to him. He loved cheering on Manchester United, music and concerts, and had a deep love of sports with an incredible knowledge of teams and players he followed, always ready with a statistic, opinion, or conversation. He also loved making trips to Crivitz and Baraboo, where he could enjoy the outdoors. Whether swimming, throwing a frisbee, building blazing bon fires, spending time with animals, or simply being outside, Jeff found peace and happiness in nature.

Jeff will be remembered for his quick wit, incredible sense of humor, and gift for storytelling. He had a way of making people laugh and bringing life to every gathering. He was a gentle soul with a big heart, endlessly creative and resourceful, with a remarkable knowledge of countless subjects. He enjoyed learning, loved sharing what he knew, and had a unique way of connecting with others.

Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ted and Esther Kieck and Robert and Roberta Borgeson; his stepfather, Ivan Brown; and his stepmother, Susan Kieck.

Jeff is survived by his loving partner, Renata Cunningham; her daughter, Theresa; and her grandson, William. He is also survived by his father, Kenneth Kieck; his mother, Cheryl Brown; his brother, Michael Kieck; and his sister (and best friend) Nicole Brown. Jeff will also be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and all whose lives were touched by knowing him.

Jeff's humor, warmth and generous heart will live on in the countless memories shared by those who loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A visitation will be held on June 6th 2026 at St. Alphonsus Parish (6060 W. Loomis Rd. Greendale, WI) from 9:30 - 10:45 AM with the funeral mass to begin at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Cudahy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeff's honor to Basilica of Saint Josaphat.
