Jeff will be remembered as a kind and caring man with a great sense of humor, someone whose presence brought warmth and laughter to those around him.
Jeffrey J. Dethloff, affectionately known as Jeff, passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 74. He was born on June 27, 1952, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Jeff will be remembered as a kind and caring man with a great sense of humor, someone whose presence brought warmth and laughter to those around him. He built his working life as the owner of Schneider Pattern Works, Inc., a role that reflected his dedication and commitment.
Outside of work, Jeff found great joy in the things he loved most. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and snowmobiling. He was an enthusiastic sports fan who enjoyed following all Wisconsin teams as well as NASCAR. Jeff was also a Harley Davidson enthusiast, and he had a special love for his dogs and pets, which were an important part of his life.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen.
Jeff is survived by his son, Ben Dethloff. He is also survived by his sister, Peggy and her husband Don Sindric; his nephew, DJ Sindric; and his mother-in-law, Kathleen Pionek. Jeff is further survived by other relatives and friends. Those who knew Jeff will remember him for his humor, his caring nature, and the genuine enjoyment he found in family, sports, the outdoors, and the companionship of the animals he loved.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on September 23, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at The Bridge MKE, 3203 S 76th St, Milwaukee, WI 53219. A Prayer Service will follow from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at the same location.
Jeff’s memory will be cherished by his family and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
