Jerome J. Gaszak, affectionately known as Jerry, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026. Born on November 25, 1946, Jerry was a man whose calm and gentle nature profoundly touched the lives of those who knew him. Throughout his lifetime, he embodied a quiet strength, an easy-going demeanor, and a simplicity that spoke volumes about his character.

Jerry dedicated over 40 years of his professional life to Allen Bradley, where his steadfast work ethic and reliability earned him the respect of colleagues and friends alike. Beyond his career, Jerry found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His early years spent at his parent’s lake cottage ignited a lifelong passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed deer hunting and camping with family and friends. Camping trips involved swinging in hammocks, going searching for firewood and cooking many things over the fire. He also was an avid wine maker turning fruit into some very strong wine. He loved being a handyman and fixing everything himself, he had a hands on approach to life.

Family was at the heart of Jerry's world. He shared 53 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Patti Nee Lukas, a milestone he regarded with immense pride and joy. Together, they nurtured a close-knit family that included their daughters, Tracy Norman and Jennifer (Scott) Wisnewski, and four cherished grandchildren: Kylie and Elise Norman, Emerson, and Adelaide Wisnewski. Jerry’s devotion to his family was a testament to the warmth and kindness that defined him.

Jerry was preceded in death by his siblings Sharon (Walter “Duke”) Duket and David (Cheryl) Gaszak. Their memories remain a treasured part of his life story.

A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held on Saturday May 23, 2026, beginning with a Memorial Gathering from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Both events will take place at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral and Cremation Greenridge Chapel, located at 4747 S. 60th Street, Greenfield, Wisconsin.

Jerry’s legacy is one of quiet strength, love for family, and a passion for life’s simple joys. Those who knew him will remember his gentle presence and the profound impact he had on their lives. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered with respect and affection.
