GERALD GEORGE DAVIS (JERRY)
Gerald George Davis sadly passed away at age 75 on August 31, 2025. Jerry was the devoted and loving husband of Gail Davis for 47 years and incredibly proud father of his cherished son, Jordan. Jerry was born on February 25, 1950; graduated from Custer High School in Milwaukee and earned a degree in business.
Jerry responded to the call of military duty in 1971 in the United States Army and proudly served his country as a military police officer in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged after serving.
Jerry and Gail met on November 10, 1976 when a mutual friend introduced them at The Cat’s Meow disco in Milwaukee. Not long after meeting, these soulmates began to plan their life together and were married.
Jerry had a distinguished career in the transportation industry for 39 years beginning as a dispatcher and eventually promoted to nationwide operations manager where he was respected for his dedication, knowledge and business acumen. In his spare time, Jerry enjoyed being a sand volleyball referee for a number of years. Once retired, he had a passion for traveling (especially road trips with Gail) and could often be found working in their yard or visiting the south shores of Lake Michigan. His kindness, generosity, and sense of humor touched everyone who knew him.
Jerry is also survived by his brother Alan (Jackie) and Karen Born (late Bob), and was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings. Jerry is also loved and remembered by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
