Gorecki, John M. Found peace on July 10, 2010, age 75 years. Beloved husband of the late Marlene. Loving dad of Lynn (Rick) Steger, Jane (Jeff) Billstrom, William, Christine (Steve) Pokora, Laura (Matthew Gebhardt) and Karen. Proud grandpa of Ian, Brianna, Erin, Nolan, Gavyn, Grady, Cal, Jack, Indica and Cree. Dear brother of Gloria (the late Robert) Thisdell, Jacqueline (Philip) Di Salvo, Claudia (the late Robert) Bodine and Michael (Paulette) Gorecki. John was the first son and fifth child born to John W. and Laura M. Gorecki. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Laura, two sisters; Eugenia L. (the late Russell Nehmer and the late Clarence Hallman) Nehmer Hallman and Elizabeth Gorecki and his brother Francis. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial Visitation Monday July 19, 2010, 9-10:30 AM at ST. ALEXANDER CHURCH (1554 W. Holt Ave.) with Memorial Mass at 10:30 AM. Inurnment St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Heart Association, appreciated.
