John Allen Taylor went home to be with Jesus on September 17, 2026. He died suddenly after years of battling respiratory issues and heart failure. He was 68.

John was born to Dr Harold Wilford Taylor and Alice Mae (Lawler) Taylor on January 25, 1958. He spent his childhood growing up in Cuba City, Wisconsin. As a teenager, John became a skilled mechanic. His pride was rebuilding a 1960's era Dodge Dart. John was also an avid snowmobiler, and would travel far with friends for the thrill of snow.

John graduated from St. Rose Catholic School and Cuba City High School. In 1980, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville with a degree in Industrial Design and Computer Science. He began working at Allis Chalmers in the Milwaukee area.

It was at this time he found the Lord.

Blessed, John would also meet his future wife, Nancy King, through their shared faith. The young couple took their wedding vows on November 7, 1987. John was a man of deep faith. The only comparison could be his love for Nancy. She was his best friend and rock.

John is survived by Nancy Taylor, his former wife and dearly loved companion. And his siblings, Dr Lu Anne (Rodney) McDaniel, Eric Taylor and Linda (Marc) Murphy. And nephews and niece, Andrew (Elizabeth) McDaniel, Thomas McDaniel, Katherine (Dr Mitch Hayes) McDaniel and Garrett Murphy. And great nephews and nieces, Alison, Margaret, Sean, Mary and Declan McDaniel. As well as, Nancy's sisters, Mary (Dave) Szalanski and Angie KIng.

John is preceded in death by his older brother, Harold Wilford Taylor, Jr (Baby Harold) and Nancy; brother, Bill (Mary) King.

A visitation will be held on October 3, 2026, at Eastbrook Church, 5353 N. Green Bay Ave., from 2:00 P.M. until the time of Mass at 3:00 P.M.

Burial will take place on October 5, 2026, at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 10700 W. Capitol Dr., at 12:30 P.M. Please meet near the cemetery office.
