John R. Zajdel passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, on May 4th, 2026, at the age of 69. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest joy was spending time with his family and helping others.

He was born to Evelyn and the late Edmund Zajdel. John is survived by his wife Gale; daughters, Stephanie (Tito) Guardiola and Ashley (Jared) Stan; grandchildren, Cayden, Tanner, and Carson; brother, Jim (Linda) Zajdel and sister, Joan (the late Gary) Simon. Further survived by nephews, other extended family members, and friends.

He worked as an auto mechanic and took great pride in his work. Outside of his profession, John cherished spending time with his family and engaging in his favorite pastimes such as hunting and fishing.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the memories he gave us, the lessons he taught us, and the love he leaves behind. He will be deeply and forever a part of us.

In accordance with John's wishes, his life will be celebrated at a future date. Family and friends will be invited to gather together to honor his memory and share stories, reflecting on the impact he had on those around him.
