Davidsz, Johnny A. Entered peacefully into God's loving arms at home, with family at his side on December 3, 2015 at the age of 82 years. Born in Sidohardjo, Indonesia on August 28, 1933; and as a child, survived being in a concentration camp from 1940-1945. Loving and devoted husband of Amy (nee Kwee) for 58 years. Precious father of Gabe (Carl) Genz, Steve (Judy ), and Mark (Sue). Cherished Opa of Josh (Nicole); Elisha (Scott) Anderson; Alexa; Andrew (Diana), Tiffany, Jason, and Tyler Genz; Lucas, Mitchell, and Spencer. Treasured Great Opa of Mason, Miles, Jasmyn, Alyssa, and Mia. Brother of Mary Den Boer in the Netherlands. Preceded in death by infant son Scotty, daughter-in-law Judy, father Edu, mother Soemiati, and brother Willie. Loved by many in-laws, cousins, relatives, and friends, also in the Netherlands and Indonesia. Johnny was a long time resident of Greenfield, Wisconsin and retired from the Gebhardt-Vogel Tanning Company as a maintenance mechanic and parts manager. He held many positions within the Dutch New American club including president, board member, Holiday Folk Fair food booth chairman, and newsletter editor. Johnny was a long-time member of New Life Community Church, and will be remembered for his kind heart, generosity and courage, letting his light shine before others and ultimately receiving his inheritance from the Lord as a reward. A memorial service in his honor will be celebrated at the funeral home on Saturday, December 19 with visitation from 8:00 to 10:00 AM and service at 10:00 AM. Pastor Will Hout officiating, with a reception to follow. Private interment at a later date.
