Joseph L. Rapant

Rapant, Joseph L. Born To Eternal Life on December 17, 2009, age 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Sally (Nee Bankit). Step-father of Paul (Judith) Bankit. Grandfather of Eric (Deborah) Bankit and Paula (Bruce) Patty. Preceded in death by two sisters, Theresa and Mary, and brothers John, Frank, Loddy and Martin. Brother-in-law of Sharon Sego. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial Visitation Wednesday December 23, 2009 9:30-10:45 AM at NATIVITY OF THE LORD CHURCH (3672 E. Plankinton Ave-Cudahy) with Memorial Mass at 11 AM. Interment Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. Joseph served as an infantry man in WW II European Theatre, four Battle Stars Northern France Ardennes, Rhineland Central Europe, and earned a combat badge and Bronze Star. Per Joseph's wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Vincent DePaul appreciated.
