Judith M. Pankowski

Pankowski, Judith M. (Nee Zahn) of Greendale, WI passed away August 12, 2013 after a long illness. Judy was born December 4, 1940 in La Crosse, WI to John L. and Evelyn (Brague) Zahn. She attended the Wisconsin State College-LaCrosse for two years before pursuing a job as a dental assistant. In 1966 she married and moved to the Milwaukee area to start her family. Judy enjoyed travel, theater and spending time with friends and family. Judy is survived by her brother, John O. Zahn, her children Bradley (Carol) and Philip (Carrie) Pankowski and Sarah (Rick) Warren, her five beloved grandchildren Shawn, Alexandra and John Pankowski and Mark and Nathaniel Warren as well as nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home, Franklin, WI on Thursday August 15, 2013 from 4-7 PM. There will be a further visitation at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 6060 W. Loomis Rd., Greendale, WI from 10-10:45 with the funeral mass to begin at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
