Karen Ann Adyniec of Cudahy, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, at the age of 58. Karen was born with a caring heart and devoted her life to helping others. She married the love of her life, Paul Adyniec, on August 11, 1990, in Daytona Beach. Together they built a life centered on love, family, laughter, and unwavering support for one another.
Karen was a proud Registered Nurse for Community Care until her retirement. Nursing was far more than a profession to her — it was part of who she was. She was deeply passionate about caring for others and touched countless lives through her compassion, intelligence, and dedication. Karen had a remarkable ability to balance her demanding career with her home life, making sure no one she loved ever felt neglected.
She found great joy in the simple beauty of life, especially in the spring and summer. Karen loved planting flowers and vegetables, watching the birds, and spending time outdoors on the deck. The beach was her happy place, and after retirement she cherished traveling to Daytona Beach to visit family and enjoy the ocean she loved so much.
Karen was always active and rarely without weekend plans. She had a special gift for bringing people together and creating lasting memories with family and friends. She will be remembered for her quick wit, humor, protective nature, intelligence, and passion for the people and things she loved most.
Karen is lovingly survived by her mother, Kathleen (Gary); her beloved husband, Paul; her children, Kayla (Joseph) and Katie (Michael); her cherished grandchildren, Evellyn, Jaelynn, Ashlynn, Jack, and Lily; her siblings, Stephen (Mary Sue), Daniel, and Hollie; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Children’s Wisconsin at childrenswi.org.
