Kathleen Roberta Crisci, affectionately known as Kathy to her friends and family, passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on August 12, 1946, Kathy's warmth and zest for life illuminated the lives of those around her throughout her remarkable journey.
Kathy was the beloved wife of Salvatore “Sam” Crisci, with whom she shared a beautiful and enduring love story spanning 60 years of marriage. Together, they built a family and a legacy of love that will forever be cherished. She was a devoted mother to the late David Alan Crisci and to Douglas Anthony Crisci, who, along with his wife Marsha, gave Kathy the joy of being a grandmother to Brady and Taylor. Kathy also shared an unbreakable bond with her "sister" and best friend of 47 years, Mary Bauer. Their friendship was a testament to the power of love, support, and laughter in the face of life's challenges.
A proud graduate of South Division High School in 1964, Kathy carried the lessons of her education and the memories of her school days throughout her life. She was a long-standing and respected employee at Allen Bradley for 41 years, where not only did she contribute her talents and dedication, but also cultivated lifelong friendships, most notably with Mary, who would become a cherished confidante.
Kathy was a woman of many passions and talents. Her garden was a vibrant tapestry of colors and fragrances that reflected her love for beauty and nature. Shopping was not just a pastime for Kathy; it was an adventure and an opportunity to find the perfect gifts to delight her loved ones. Her creativity knew no bounds, as she found joy in crafting, stenciling, and especially in making wreaths that graced many doors and hearts. Traveling was another of Kathy's interests, as she relished the discovery of new places and the creation of unforgettable memories.
Those who knew Kathy will remember her as the epitome of kindness, always extending a helping hand and a sympathetic ear to anyone in need. Her loving nature was the foundation upon which she built her life, and it is the legacy she leaves behind. Kathy's creative spirit and her ability to find beauty in the simplest things were truly inspirational.
As we mourn the loss of Kathy, we also celebrate a life well-lived. She was a beacon of love, creativity, and kindness, whose memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family, her friends, and all who were privileged to know her. Kathy's spirit, her laughter, and her unwavering love will be deeply missed, but her influence will remain, guiding and comforting us like a soft, persistent glow in the quiet corners of our lives.
