Kathryn A. Anderson

Kathryn A. Anderson, age 86, Greendale, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on July 10, 2025.

Born January 30, 1939, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Kathryn was the beloved daughter of the late Stephen and Irene Dolan. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Brunner. She has a living sister, Jeri Bekkum (Sherman).

Kathryn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, teacher, and friend. She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Anderson; her son, Jimmy Anderson (Julie), her Grandchildren, Heather Kennedy(Keith) and Amanda Anderson, her great grandchild Harper Kennedy; Her daughter Mary Cummings (Bret); Grandson Chase Cummings, Step grandchildren, Bryce Cummings (Victoria), Trent Cummings (Tricha), and step great-grandchildren, Caysen, Raeann and Jett Cummings. She is also survived by stepdaughter Susan Goldsworthy(Rick) and step grandchildren Andrew, Erica and Sarah.

A dedicated educator, Kathryn taught 1st and 2nd grade in the Whitnall School District for many years until her retirement at age 64. She touched the lives of countless children with her warmth, patience, and love of learning.

Kathryn had a lifelong passion for animals, especially dogs, and was known for her kind heart and gentle spirit. She was also a huge Brewers fan and thoroughly enjoyed watching their games and cheering them on. For the past several years, she has been an active and enthusiastic member of the Greendale Senior Social Club, where she found joy, friendship, and community.

Kathryn will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her compassion, and the quiet strength that she carried through life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her.
