As a loving mother, Kelly's greatest pride was her children, Hailey and AJ, whom she raised with an abundance of love and a spirit of generosity. She was the cherished daughter of Katie and Jerry Knipple and a sister who shared an unbreakable bond with Kyle and his wife, Ashley. She was a loving aunt to Kameryn and Karsten. Kelly's life was further enriched by her relationship with her ex-husband, Angelo Savasta. Her beloved grandmother, Delores Knipple, engaged in many meaningful conversations throughout Kelly's life. Kelly is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and close friends. Kelly was fortunate to have 2 godmothers, Barb and Linda. Also the proud dog mom to Ginger, Carmine, and Leo.

Kelly's academic achievements were a testament to her passion for education. She earned two Master's degrees in Educational Leadership/Adminstration and Curriculum, following a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching. Her previous leadership roles at Basilica of Saint Josaphat School and St. Charles Borromeo School were marked by her ability to foster collaborative environments and promote the intellectual and emotional growth of her students.

Kelly's impact extended beyond the classroom as she engaged in public speaking, fundraising, and community outreach, notably with her involvement in the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Her role as chairperson for Wisconsin VisionWalk stemmed from being diagnosed with Stargardts eye disease. This leadership position showcased her talent for rallying people together for a common cause, championing the betterment of those around her.

Her love for cooking created a warm and inviting atmosphere for friends and family, especially AJ's favorite potato soup. Kelly was a world renowned professional napper with snoring ability to shake a house. Hailey always had the special touch to wake her up with a simple slap on the leg followed by kind and loving words. Kelly's favorite holiday, Mother's Day, was a reflection of her nurturing soul and the immense joy she found in motherhood. Not only was it motherhood for her kids, but she also had a passion for overfeeding her dogs.
