Ken received a master’s degree from Indiana University and then spent the majority of his career improving hospital efficiency at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
On August 18, 1962, Ken and Carolyn married. In the following years they had three children, Brad, Linda, and Mark, and moved to Greendale, Wisconsin in 1969. In his personal time, Ken enjoyed golfing, fishing, spending time at their cottage up north, and eating at his favorite restaurant, Culver’s. Ken enjoyed spending time with their many pets over the years, and he was a volunteer dog walker at Elmbrook Humane Society.
Ken is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carolyn; children, Brad (Sue) Kahl, Linda (Jeff) Sweet, and Mark (Dawn) Kahl; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
