Kim Leon Humburg

November 4, 1947 – August 6, 2026

Born in Frankfort, Indiana, son of Fred and Alma Humburg, both of whom preceded him in death. Kim graduated from Frankfort High School and then entered into the Army, two years in the states and 13 months in Korea. He worked for Eli Lilly for 24 years. He retired and enjoyed traveling with his wife.

Kim is survived by his wife of 29 years, Paula Kaye Humburg, one daughter, Melanie ( Matt) Doody, of Dundee, MI, two step sons; Tim (Natalie) Smith, of Milwaukee, WI and Tom (Jessica) Smith, of Mount Hope, Canada, six granddaughters: Lily (nee Smith)(Ian) Brown, of La Crosse, WI, Madalyn Doody of Dundee, MI, Joelle Smith of Milwaukee, WI, Makenze Doody of Dundee, MI, Ella Smith of Canada and Miah Smith of Canada. Kim is further survived by two brothers, Jay (Jeanne) Humburg, of Kokomo, IN and Jack (Connie) Humburg, of St. Pete, FL.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Forest Ridge Senior Community, 11077 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners, WI, in the Epoch North Community Room on Saturday, August 15 starting at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, 5000 W. National Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53295.
