Amidzich, Lawrence "Boobie" Passed away peacefully on Friday, August 6, 2010 at the age of 92. Loving husband of Rita(nee St. Clair) for 65 years. Dear father of Mark(the late Kathleen)Amidzich, Gail(Louis Barbash)Amidzich, Scott Amidzich and Jennifer(Joseph)Welch. Loving grandpa of Christopher(Kim), Amy(Paul), Melissa, Nick, Philip, Michelle, Kacey and Sam. Dear great-grandpa of Abby, Lizzie, Emily and Marissa. Brother of Dana Rokich and the late Miladen and Helen Amidzich. Longstanding childhood friend of Dr. Emil Drvaric. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Dad will be long remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, fabulous barbeques and his big red Cadillac. He was a 49 year employee of Blaskovic's Poultry. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Monday, August 9 from 4-7pm and on Tuesday at St. Florian Catholic Church, 1233 S. 45th St., from 9:30-10:15am. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am.
