Larry was a proud Army veteran who served as a Military Police Officer. He was an expert rifle marksman and pistol sharpshooter. After his military service, he was employed at Allen Bradley Rockwell International for over 36 years.
The best time of his life was building and enjoying his lake cabin. For years, the cabin was a getaway where morning coffee tasted better, and Friday fish fries were a must. He relaxed with hunting and fishing and encouraged others to do the same. The cabin was a place where time slowed down, and there was appreciation for nature’s gentleness, where Larry found pure joy.
Larry was a helping hand and a steady friend to all whom he met. We have been graced with being led by a quiet, humble man whose primary interest was his family. He will be profoundly missed, but always in our hearts. He will always be remembered for his goodbyes, secret handshakes, and saying, “See you around like a doughnut.”
In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity in Larry’s memory would be appreciated.
