Leon Alba Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on February 20, 2026, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Born on December 27, 1943, in Rosebud, Texas. Leon lived a life filled with dedication, love, and joy.
After graduating from South Division High School, he committed himself to a long and industrious career as an Inspector at Briggs and Stratton, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Renowned for his strong work ethic, Leon was a man who was always willing to lend a helping hand, embodying a spirit of kindness and community wherever he went.
Leon was an avid outdoorsman, finding joy in spending time up north at Lee Lake with his family and friends. He cherished moments of gardening, hunting, boating, and fishing, further enriching the memories he created with loved ones. His friends affectionately knew him as Leonski or Lito. He was a hard-working man who made countless friendships, never meeting a stranger along the way.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Marie (Pulliam), of 52 years; his children, Eric (Donna), Greg (Amy), and Juanita (Cesar) Alba; and his grandchildren, Jacob (Ashley), Brandon, Dylan, Brenda, Josiah, Antonio, and Jackson. Also left to remember him fondly are his siblings: Esther (the late Roger), Lydia (Jim), Alice (the late Gary), and Steven (Char) Pena. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rosa and Leon Sr.
A visitation will be held on February 25, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM, both taking place at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral and Cremation Greenridge Chapel in Greenfield, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree in Leon's memory.
Leon Alba Jr. will be remembered not only for his remarkable accomplishments but for the deep love and loyalty he showed to his family and friends. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing him.
