Leon J. Glowacki

Glowacki, Leon J. Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2016 at the age of 85. Loving husband of Angela (nee Mirenda) for 59 years. Beloved father of Leon P. (Margaret). Caring grandfather of Daniel. Dear brother of Barbara Dahl. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Leon was a proud graduate, teacher and coach of football, wrestling and track at Pulaski High School. He was also a graduate of UW-Milwaukee where he played football and now is a member of the UW-M Athletic Hall of Fame. Leon was a member of the Green Gulls. Leon was a proud Army Veteran who was a member of the 84th Division Band where he played the trumpet. He was a member of the Greendale American Legion Post 416. After retirement, Leon and Angela taught Conversational English in Poland for 11 summers. Visitation at ST. MARY CATHOLIC FAITH COMMUNITY (9520 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners) on Thursday, March 17 from 10-11:45AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 12PM. Entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to the family.
