Katorski, Leonard, S. "Len Honey" Our Lord Jesus walked with "Len Honey" into his Eternal Rose Garden at the age of 94. Most kind and loving man to his dear wife Leona for 66 blessed years. Loving and devoted dad to his special blessings Janice (Gregory) Loman, Gregory (Valentina) and Mary Beth Katorski. Cherished grandpa of Michelle (Christopher) Moudry, Steve (Fiance Lynn) Loman, Jessica (Steve) Voerding, Nathan (Fiance Jenna) Katorski, and great-granddaughter Victoria Moudry. Special friend of Mildred (Frank) Lisowicz, Sylvia (the late Mickey) Dargiewicz, and Evelyn (the late Bernard) Leszczynski. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Len served 4 1/2 years with the Army during WWII in the Pacific at Guadalcanal as a Staff Sgt. Len retired from the U.S. Post Office after 36 years. Len was a member of American Legion Post #416, Catholic Knights Branch #306 for 50 years, and the St. Vincent DePaul Society for 20 years. Len was active in his church, was a member of the Holy Name Society, worked with the Boy Scouts, and was a Mass Server and Eucharist Minister until age 88. He was an avid Brewers Fan, loved gardening and other outdoor work. The family extends a special thanks to the Wheaton Franciscan St. Francis Hospital and hospital staff including Dr. K Chintamaneni, Katrina and staff, Dr. L. Kumar and Dorothy, Home Health Care and all dear friends at church for all their care and support. Also a special thanks to Fr. Michael Ignaszak, Fr. Javier Guativa and all other priest friends of the family who touched Len's Life. Visitation Thursday July 19, 2012 at Blessed John Paul II Parish, St. Alexander Church (1568 W. Holt Ave.) from 9:30 - 10:45 AM with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Fr. Michael Ignaszak officiating. Interment Holy Trinity Cemetery.
