Leonita "Nita" Helen Saffaroni

Leonita “Nita” Helen Staffaroni (nee Glenzinski) was born to eternal life on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at the age of 92. She was the beloved wife of Louis “Lou”, mother to John (Mary Beth), grandmother of Jacob and Courtney. Beloved Aunt of Gary A. (Kathy) Marsack, sister to Duane (Judy), PaulAnn Braun and Lovila (Don) Smith as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Nita was preceded in death by her parents Emil and Eligia (nee Maliszewski), son Joseph A., and brother John (Alice).

Nita was employed as a bookkeeper until becoming a stay-at-home mother, she spent time volunteering for the school lunch program as well at St. Vincent DePaul. After raising her family, she enjoyed working with the young children at the New Berlin School District. As a homemaker and companion Nita was an excellent cook and baker. Until her eyesight deteriorated, she loved to read especially recipe books.

Always a happy person who took on problems with full stride. Nita had complete love for her family and God. Everyone will miss her.

Visitation will be held at St. Camillus San Camillo Chapel (West Entrance 10200 W Bluemound Rd., Milwaukee) on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 1:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Nita’s honor to charity of your choice.
