Linda L. Vergolina's Obituary

Listen to Obituary

Linda Lou Vergolina passed away on March 24, 2026 at the age of 65 surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to those she cherished most.

Linda was a dedicated teacher who touched countless lives with her patience, compassion, and belief in others. She had a natural gift for making people feel valued and capable, and her impact extended far beyond the classroom.

Above all, Linda was an incredible mother and best friend to her daughter, Ally and a soulmate and loving wife to her husband, Al. Their bond was unbreakable—filled with laughter, support, and unconditional love. She was a caring stepmother to Joe (Vicki), Michael (Jen), and Andy, as well as grandma to her grandsons, Rudy and Emery. She is also lovingly remembered by her golden retriever, Rylee, who was a constant companion and source of joy. Linda was one of eight siblings and shared a special bond with her seven brothers and sisters, Mike, Sue (Tom), Julie (Gary), Mary (Scott), Charlie (Barb), the late Sarah (Mark), and the late Lizzy. She was also a favorite sister-in-law to Susie (Mick). Her family was her heart, and she poured everything she had into creating a home filled with warmth and love.

Her kindness extended to everyone in her life. She was a loyal friend and someone who always put others before herself. Her positivity and strength were constant, even in difficult times, and she had a remarkable way of lifting others up.

Linda's family would like to thank her amazing cancer team at Froedtert. Thank you to Dr. J. Connelly, Dr. M. Straza and their kind staff for their compassionate care.

Linda’s legacy is one of love, selflessness, and resilience. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her love lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons – Mission Hills Chapel, located at 8910 W. Drexel Ave., Franklin- on Wednesday, April 22 starting at 10AM until time of memorial service at 12 Noon.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Medical College of Wisconsin Brain Tumor Research program, whose work focuses on tumors like Linda's. Please make checks payable to the "MCW Brain Tumor Research Program". Your support in her honor would be greatly appreciated.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
