Linda Ann Wachowiak (nee Sot), age 75, of Milwaukee, passed away on October 1, 2026. She was born in Milwaukee on August 18, 1951, to the late Chester and Mary Ann Sot.

Linda attended the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and began her career as a legal secretary, growing into the role of office manager over the years. She retired in 2020 and embraced her new title, proudly listing herself as "Working at Being Happily Retired."

Linda and Dave, her best friend and partner in crime, shared nearly 40 years together and married in December 1996. Their life was full of laughter, travel, and adventure, from spending time at Pleasant Lake in Coloma to beach trips in Mexico with dear friends.

Above all, Linda loved her family. She never missed a chance to celebrate her three sons, and her grandchildren lit up her world. She was a woman of deep faith who reminded those around her to "let go and let God."

Linda treasured her friends and loved Brewers games, holiday train rides, and craft fairs. She had a soft spot for dogs and a playful sense of humor that came through in everything she shared. She lived by words she often shared: "Life's so short. Spend it with friends who make you laugh and feel loved."

Linda is survived by her husband, Dave; her sons, Jason, Jeremy (Tracy), and Justin (Paul); her grandchildren, William, Payton, Cecilia, Spencer, and Stella; her brother, Terry Sot; her nieces, Shalen and Dawn; her cousins, Sandy and Tom; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Mary Jane

A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at St. James Catholic Church, 7219 S 27th Street, from 9:30 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. A luncheon will follow please see family or the Funeral Director for further details.
